I enjoyed a very efficient and friendly transit between the JW Marriott in Guanacaste and the airport in Liberia …. The driver arrived timely and was excellent and very helpful. I felt completely safe and my luggage was treated gently. I definitely plan on using the Guana Shuttle Service again the next time I visit! Highest Recommendation!!

Should I fly into San José or Liberia for Papagayo?
Liberia is far closer — under an hour, from $80. From San José the drive is 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours and starts at $290. If you have a choice of flights, Liberia is the easier arrival.
Do you stop on the way from San José?
Yes. On a drive this long, stops for food and bathrooms are included — just tell your driver.
