Door to Door Transfers in Guanacaste
Guanacaste addresses are often descriptive rather than numbered, and a rental villa two hundred metres down an unmarked road is a genuinely hard place to be dropped off by someone who has never been there. Door to door means the driver takes you to your actual door — send a map pin with your booking and it stops being a problem.
We arrived in Liberia, immediately met by our driver with our name on a card.
Who this is for
- Guests staying in a rental villa, Airbnb or private residence
- Anyone whose address has no street number
- Travellers arriving after dark to an unfamiliar property
- Groups renting a house rather than resort rooms
What it costs
Door-to-door drop-off is included in every private transfer price. There is no extra charge for a residential address.
How it works
- 1
Send a map pin, not a street address
A Google Maps pin or the property name is the fastest way for us to find you. Screenshots of the host's directions work too.
- 2
We check the route before the day
If the final approach is unpaved or gated, we plan for it when we assign the vehicle.
- 3
We take you to the door
Not the nearest town, not the main road — the property entrance.
Before you message us
The five things travellers ask before they book.
- How do I pay?
- Cash when you board, or PayPal in advance (a 13% tax applies to PayPal payments). No deposit required for cash bookings.
- What if my flight is delayed?
- We track your flight with the number you give us and adjust to your real arrival time. Delays are on us, not you.
- Do you have car seats for kids?
- Yes, on request at no charge. Costa Rican law doesn't require them for this type of transport, but we're happy to provide one — just mention it when you book.
- How far in advance should I book?
- Two days ahead is ideal, especially in high season. We take last-minute bookings whenever we have a vehicle available, so it never hurts to ask.
- Where do I meet the driver?
- Right outside the arrivals exit. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name.

I enjoyed a very efficient and friendly transit between the JW Marriott in Guanacaste and the airport in Liberia …. The driver arrived timely and was excellent and very helpful. I felt completely safe and my luggage was treated gently. I definitely plan on using the Guana Shuttle Service again the next time I visit! Highest Recommendation!!

Questions about door to door service
What if my rental has no street address?
Send a Google Maps pin or the property name. Most addresses in Guanacaste are descriptive, so a pin is what we actually use.
Do you charge more for a villa instead of a hotel?
No. Door-to-door drop-off is part of the private transfer price.
Can you find a property on an unpaved road?
Yes. Tell us at booking so we assign a vehicle suited to the final approach.
