Costa Rica Airport Transfers — LIR and SJO

We run transfers from both of Costa Rica's international airports: Daniel Oduber in Liberia, which serves Guanacaste, and Juan Santamaría in San José. For almost every destination on this site, Liberia is far closer — Papagayo is under an hour from LIR and around five hours from SJO. If you have not booked your flights yet, that difference is worth knowing before you do.

Which airport should I fly into for Guanacaste?

Liberia (LIR) is much closer for every destination on this site. Papagayo is under an hour from Liberia and 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours from San José.

Where exactly does the driver meet me?

Outside the arrivals gate, holding a sign with your name. Drivers allow time for you to clear immigration, baggage claim and customs.

Do you cover departures as well as arrivals?

Yes. Send us your departure flight time and we schedule the pickup around it.
